Inkjet ink is divided into dye ink and pigment ink, where the dye ink is water-soluble, can be completely dissolved in water, with the production of dye ink, the printing is smooth, wide color gamut, colorful; pigment ink is not soluble in water, so need to be ultra-fine dispersion to apply, the production with pigment ink, the color gamut is narrow, dark colors, but the black is indeed sharp, safe, waterproof and good fastness.
Internationally, the original inkjet printer manufacturers are basically use black pigment ink, such as HP 816 cartridges, Canon PG-40 cartridges, Epson 73 cartridges, and almost all colors are used dye ink. This is because the black pigment ink non-toxic safe, able to print a sharp graphic, waterproof and good fastness.
At present, in the domestic inkjet ink production, the black dye ink is the use of direct dyes, color ink is mostly used acid dyes and reactive dyes.
As people become more and more aware of inkjet ink, people are demanding more and more demands on ink performance and safety. Compatible ink manufacturers are bound to close to the standard with the original ink manufacturers, black pigment ink will become the mainstream in the market.
